Product Manager – Cronolog Cloud
Cronolog is our secure computer solution providing operational data to shipowners and ship operators, enabling analysis and insight for their fleet. With Cronolog, ship operators can reduce costs and emissions and meet future regulatory requirement.
The Cronolog solution will combine operational data with trip modes and interact with external data sources like weather and public transport route planners. Further it provides remote access to operational systems, enabling future remote operations and autonomy in shipping.
SEAM wants to develop the solution to the next level. Therefore, we are looking for a Product Manager that will be an architect and tech-lead for the solution and coordinate developers in the development. The Cronolog Product Manager will also have the overview to see the Cronolog solution as a whole, including the Edge solution installed on vessels. Towards shipowners you will collect needs and give technical support together with sales. Internally you will be the go-to-person on the solution and provide project leaders and sales personnel with technical know-how.

- Develop and maintain the SEAM Cronolog Cloud solution
- Responsible for architecture and system design
- Be a go-to-person for the product, both internally and externally
- Play an important role in commercialization of the services
Relevant qualifications and personal qualities
- Experience with systems architecture and design
- Knowledge about cyber security
- Interest or experience with vessel-shore communication
- Good overview of cloud solutions and appropriate dashboard and analytics solutions
- Preferably relevant system experience with database management (e.g. InfluxDB) and IIoT protocol design (e.g. MQTT)
- Good written and oral skills in Norwegian and English
- Ability to see the overall picture and keep an eye for opportunities
- Ability to take responsibility and execute
- Good cooperation and interpersonal skills
